Tumor microenvironment and signaling

A tumor is not an isolated entity living on its own, but is in close contact with its surrounding cells and tissues. Cancer cells communicate extensively with their so-called micro-environment, which can lead to e.g. blood vessel formation, nutrient supply or escape from the immune system. Read more about all CRIG research focusing on tumor micro-environments and the signals needed for communication between cancer cells and their surroundings below.
