Head and neck cancer
Head and neck cancers are all cancers that develop in the nose, throat, mouth, tongue, larynx, salivary glands and sinuses. Not included in this group are brain cancer, eye cancer and thyroid cancer. Head and neck cancers occur more frequently in men than in women and can be accelerated by the use of tobacco and alcohol. Read more about CRIG research into head and neck cancer below.
