Prostate cancer
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer worldwide in men above 65, but is not the most important cause of death in this age group. The prostate is a walnut-sized gland, found at the base of the male bladder, that produces a fluid which ends up in the sperm. Several CRIG groups are investigating better ways to diagnose and treat prostate cancer.
