4th CRIG industrial partnering event
Scope
We are glad to invite you to the 4th edition of the industrial partnering event of the Cancer Research Institute Ghent (CRIG) on Friday 6th October 2023.
After 3 successful biennial events, the CRIG will bring together different actors in the oncology ecosystem to discuss the latest innovations in cancer research, and create new basis for synergic collaborations. We strongly believe that building bridges among different innovators strengthens the fight again cancer, delivers solutions faster to the patients, and helps achieving early and less invasive cancer diagnosis.
The 4th CRIG industrial partnering event welcomes principal investigators, clinicians and senior postdocs from CRIG and research/non-profit institutions, as well as company delegates active in the field of life sciences.

We look forward to an exciting and diverse program with industrial and academic speakers. The event features 2 plenary sessions with invited speakers, and 8 parallel sessions with short pitches. You are also welcome to join our Breakfast Tables to start the day (see next section).
Networking opportunities
Join our Breakfast Tables and brainstorm with other innovators in oncology on key opportunities and challenges in developing new cancer treatments, diagnostics and tools. We will debate on
- innovations in cancer diagnostics: multiple biomarkers, liquid biopsies, patient stratification
- challenges in immuno-oncology concerning therapy combination

Target audience: principal investigators, clinicians, research coordinators and senior postdocs from CRIG and research/non-profit institutions, as well as delegates from companies active in the field of life sciences.
Early registration ended on Sunday 27 August 2023, registration fee is per person.
- CRIG members (group leaders, PIs, postdocs):
75 EUR (early) - 150 EUR (late) - Academia (non-CRIG), non-profit organisations:
200 EUR (early) - 300 EUR (late) - Industry:
350 EUR (early) - 400 EUR (late)
Cancellation policy: in case you want to cancel your registration, please send a request to Cristina.Pintucci@UGent.be. All notifications received 2 months before the start of the event, get refunded for 100% minus an administrative fee of 50 EUR. All notifications received between 1 and 2 months before the start of the event, get refunded for 50% minus an administrative fee of 50 EUR. Cancellation requests received less than 1 month before the start of the event will not be refunded.
