Transform Your Protein Research with Platinum Pro-Next Gen Protein Sequencer (NGPS) - seminar

Within the Ghent University NGS Core facility – NXTGNT, a next generation protein sequencer from Quantum-SI will be installed soon. The protein sequencer allows to study peptides and offers an alternative to classic mass spectrometry.

On January 13 (11:00 – 12:00), Quantum-SI organizes a short lunch seminar to showcase the possibilities and potential applications of the technology. The seminar is hosted by Prof. Filip Van Nieuwerburgh and colleagues, and welcomes potentially interested researchers.

An introductory lecture to Next Gen Protein Sequencing with the Platinum Pro by Jordan Moore (Quantum-Si). NGPS on Platinum Pro enables you to:

  • Complete protein identification prior to additional experiments
  • Identify unknown bands from your gels
  • Characterize your biomarker of interest with deeper insights
  • Identify potential contaminants from protein production
  • Verify that your antibody is successfully isolating the target protein
  • Read protein barcodes to test vector/cargo in multiplex in vivo
