Desmoid tumors

 

Desmoid tumors are rare tumors arising in connective tissues and muscles. They are however not considered as sarcomas because they never metastasize. Desmoid tumors are thus ‘benign’ tumors, although they can behave rather aggressive locally and oppress nearby tissues. Read more about CRIG research into desmoid tumors below.
