FWO Vlaanderen published the results of the application round 2022 for research projects (‘junior’, ‘senior’, SBO, TBM and ‘Kom op tegen Kanker’). An overview of all funded projects can be found on the website of FWO via this link

Junior:

  • prof. Pieter Mestdagh - 'Long non-coding RNAs involved in the regulation of tumor immunogenicity' (493 000 euro)

Senior:

  • prof. Frank Speleman (co-promotor prof. Jimmy Van den Eynden) - 'Tissue integrated omics-deciphering of cellular and molecular response in reinforced MYCN/ATR-CHK1 synthetic lethality in high-risk neuroblastoma' (520 000 euro)
