The battle against neuroblastoma by CRIG research teams, inspired by "Mega Ferre"

Several research teams at CRIG, including the teams of prof. Jo Vandesompele, prof. Pieter Mestdagh and prof. Frank Speleman, have made important contributions in the battle against neuroblastoma, a highly aggressive type of pediatric cancer. As such, these teams open the door for better test possibilities and provide new insights into the genetic defects that results in neuroblastoma development.

The teams were inspired by the story of Ferre, a boy that lost his battle against the disease.
