Lab technician – Taghon lab (department Immunology, UGent)
Principal investigator: prof. Tom Taghon (PhD)

Research focus

The Taghon Lab focuses on (early) human T cell development and the importance of Notch signaling guiding this process. For this, we study the various aspects defining T cell differentiation by unravelling both genetic and epigenetic features directing transcriptional regulation. In this way, we aim to elucidate the mechanisms that are often perturbed in T-cell related malignancies such as T cell leukemia and primary immune deficiencies.
As a lab technician, I support PhD students and Post-doctoral researchers with practical guidance and expertise in several research areas within our research group.

Biography
