Scope

This 'Connecting Expertise' event (closed networking event for CRIG (UGent, UZ Gent, VIB-UGent) researchers) is focused on expertise in Ghent on animal models and research tools in the field of (comparative) oncology. Via short pitches and ample networking opportunities, we hope to introduce you to the latest technologies and expertise at our institutions.

This event is an initiative of the Veterinary Oncology Network within CRIG. This network performs research in veterinary oncology and aims for collaboration on 2 levels:

  • to explore targets to improve cancer diagnostics and treatments for companion animals
  • make use of companion animals as translational models for humans
