Research focus

It has been clearly understood that the tumor stromal biophysical properties heavily affect the income of any cancer therapy, such as chemotherapy.
In my doctoral researches, I will focus on developing non-invasive methods for profiling crucial biophysical parameters in solid tumors including the interstitial fluid pressure and elastic features. For doing so, a clinical study has been planned to implement the dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI (DCE-MRI) for developing a personalized cancer characterization during therapy. Also, few other in-vitro investigations such as hydraulic conductivity measurement is undergoing, which finally a 3D coupling of poroelastic and computational fluid dynamics models will illustrate the outcomes.
