Prof. Tessa Kerre is CRIG group leader, Head of clinic of the Hematology department at Ghent University Hospital and associate professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of Ghent University. She has a heart for literature, culture and science communication.

In ‘Immuun voor kanker?’, she combines these passions into a book of stories about science, people, and imagination with the goal of making cancer discussible and reducing fear and loneliness.
