CRIG 'young investigator proof-of-concept projects’ laureates 5th call
CRIG
CRIG provides research grants for young (postdoctoral) cancer researchers at CRIG to initiate potentially high-risk and innovative cancer research projects. In this 5th call, following postdocs were awarded (start projects on March 1, 2019):
- dr. Eric de Bony de Lavergne - 'Implementation of a high-throughput CRISPR-interference screening platform for the identification of therapeutic lncNRAs in neuroblastoma' (promotor of the grant: prof. Pieter Mestdagh)
- dr. Bart Roman - 'Characterization and testing of a spheroid confrontation model with fundamental and translational application potential' (promotor of the grant: prof. Olivier De Wever)
- dr. Suzanne Vanhauwaert - 'A new model for the study of MYCN induced senescence: a pilot single cell transcriptome analysis' (promotor of the grant: prof. Frank Speleman)
- dr. Evelien Wynendaele - 'The in vivo role of quorum sensing peptides in metastatic breast cancer' (promotor of the grant: prof. Bart De Spiegeleer)
