Cocktail/mocktail evening for glioblastoma research
Two years ago, our own CRIG group leader Prof. Pieter Van Vlierberghe, a world authority in the field of childhood leukemia was diagnosed with glioblastoma, a very aggressive type of brain tumour.
A personal friend of Pieter, Wesley Boers - affiliated with KULeuven - is taking part in the Ironman in Frankfurt to raise money for glioblastoma research. To be able to donate money for this good cause, the members of Prof. Pieter Van Vlierberghe's research group are organizing a cocktail and mocktail evening on June 17 in MRB2 (backyard).
