Research focus
My research focusses on the development and application of microarray-based spatial profiling technologies to identify mutant clones in histologically normal tissues. This technology addresses the limitations of available techniques by identifying a broad range of somatic mutations, as opposed to a limited number of pre-targeted mutations. Using this technology, I aim to analyze mutational clonal interaction patterns in post-mortem whole-body donor head and neck samples. Furthermore, I aim to derive insights into the underlying mechanisms of competing clone pairs.
