Prof. An Hendrix receives KAGB Prize of the Flemish Scientific Foundation 2022 for her research on bacterial extracellular vesicles

End of February, CRIG group leader Prof. An Hendrix of Het Lab for Experimental Cancer Research received the "Prize of the Flemish Scientific Foundation 2022", one of the prizes awarded by the Royal Academy of Medicine for Belgium (KAGB).
She received this prize for her work on bacterial extracellular vesicles, vesicles produced by the bacteria living in our bodies that play an important role in the communication between these bacteria and the human body, and which may also play an important role in cancer.
