Immuno-T, the first motion comic about immunotherapy

Immuno-T is the first motion comic to explain how different strategies of immunotherapy work, to patients and their family and friends. Immuno-T was developed by UZ Gent and UGent, with the support of the Cancer Research Institute Gent (CRIG) and the Immuno-Oncology Network Ghent (ION). Immunotherapy is a recently developed, novel, treatment of cancer. It is an important breakthrough in the treatment of several cancers, and further ongoing developments give clinicians and researchers cause for hope. Immunotherapy has a completely different mode of action than traditional cancer treatments such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy (irradiation). Immunotherapy uses the patient's own immune system to attack and kill cancer cells. Several forms of immunotherapy exist, all complex and difficult to explain. That's why we have developed this tool.
