CRIG member Hetty Helsmoortel comments on national TV on CancerSEEK, a novel test to detect cancer via a simple blood test

A novel test, called CancerSEEK, was developed to detect cancer via detection of the levels of circulating proteins and mutations in cell-free DNA in the blood. The test was applied to more than 1000 cancer patients, to determine to which extent the test was able to detect 8 common cancer types.
