CRIG member Bert Boute receives Dyson-award for a new patient support device for radiotherapy of breast cancer patients in the prone position

Bert Boute, CRIG member and Industrial Engineer in Industrial Design  won the James Dyson award for the development of a new patient support device for prone breast radiotherapy.

James Dyson, best known for the invention of a vacuum cleaner without dust bag, each year awards a technological breakthrough. Bert Boute wins the competition this year for Belgium and receives 2200 EUR.
