1st UGent Zebrafish – Xenopus Meeting

The recent developments in genome editing via TALEN and CRISPR have been a real game changer for non-mammalian model organisms. At Ghent University several groups are using zebrafish and Xenopus for studying development, evolution and of course human genetic disease, including cancer. In the afternoon of May 14 all the groups at UGent working with zebrafish and Xenopus will come together to showcase their work and exchange their expertise.
