Research focus
My research focuses on biomarker discovery in clinical proteomics samples in cancer, with a strong emphasis on bioinformatics and computational analysis. The molecular composition of biological samples, such as plasma, tissue, or other biofluids, holds critical information about disease states. Cancer-specific protein signatures can provide insights into tumor progression, response to therapy, and patient stratification.
My research integrates different omics approaches for biomarker discovery in cancer, leveraging computational methods to analyse and interpret complex datasets. We apply advanced bioinformatics pipelines, machine learning algorithms, and statistical modelling to identify meaningful protein patterns across large-scale proteomics data. Additionally, we focus on data harmonization of proteomics datasets to improve reproducibility, enhance cross-study comparisons, and enable more robust biomarker validation for clinical applications.
