Research focus

My main interest lies in the structural characterization of cytokine ligand-receptor complexes involved in inflammation and cancer via structural methods, mainly involving cryogenic electron microscopy, combined with biophysical/biochemical characterization. Structural elucidation of these complexes may form the basis for subsequent antagonist design and therapeutic targeting.
