FEMTO Pulse Automated Pulsed-Field CE instrument

• DNA or RNA is mixed with a nucleotide binding colored reagent (SYBR-family) and separated using capillary gel electrophoresis.
• At the moment there are three kits available for DNA 100-6000bp (fragment: 50fg/µL-5pg/µL, smear: 5pg/µL-250pg/µL), 1.3-165kbp (fragment:300fg/µL-30pg/µL, smear: 5pg/µL-500pg/µL) and RNA 15-6000nt (2.5pg/µL-250pg/µL). The inputvolume is always 2µL
• The output is an electropherogram. For DNA 100-6000bp the sizing accuracy is ±5% and  quantification accuracy ±25%, for DNA 1.3-165kbp the sizing accuracy is ±15%, for RNA 15-6000nt the sizing accuracy is ±20% and the quantification accuracy is ±30%.
• To check minute quantities of DNA or RNA (e.g. circulating free DNA or RNA) or to check very long DNA (e.g. Oxford Nanopore or PacBio sequencing)
• There is no other technology on the market with a detection limit this low.
