An 'smart' skin scanner can detect skin tumors better and at an early stage, which is important for a successful treatment.
Dr. Evelien Verhaeghe, head of clinic Dermatology at Ghent University Hospital and CRIG member, confirms that this scanner will simplify the work of dermatologists:
the high-quality images can be compared quickly and easily.
