Research focus
My research focuses on cancer-related fatigue (CRF) in patients treated for lung cancer, one of the most common and distressing symptoms. CRF can strongly impact daily functioning, quality of life, and recovery, yet its causes and optimal treatment strategies are still not fully understood. This project aims to
clarify the role of physical activity (PA) in reducing CRF. This is highly relevant, as participation in rehabilitation programs is currently low, and better-tailored, accessible interventions are needed.
generate evidence that can guide personalized and feasible interventions. Ultimately, the goal is to improve symptom management, inform healthcare policies on physical activity and enhance the quality of life for lung cancer survivors.
