Research focus

My research focuses on the reproducible design, implementation, and application of computational methods - integrating quantum chemistry, molecular modeling, high‑performance (quantum) computing, machine learning, and bioinformatics – with the aim to better understand molecular and biological systems. By advancing how both classical and quantum information can be harnessed, and by deepening our understanding of molecular mechanisms, I aim to accelerate drug discovery and support the development of more personalized treatment strategies.

In a multidisciplinary environment, I act as a bridge between theoreticians, data engineers, and experimental scientists by integrating diverse data types and translating them into actionable insights. To achieve this, I develop scalable, efficient, and reproducible computational workflows that span multiple levels of resolution, from atomistic simulations at the quantum scale to large‑scale bioinformatics analyses of complex biological datasets.

In this way, I aim to facilitate predictive and data-driven research, enabling cancer researchers to interpret experimental results, efficiently design new experiments and prioritize therapeutic entry points.
