Research focus

In the Laboratory for Medicinal Chemistry we operate at the interface of chemistry and biology. Particularly, we aim to design and synthesize small molecule analogues to modulate particular targets. By chemically modifying target ligands, we explore how small structural changes affect biological activity. This expertise is also employed to improve drug-like properties of small molecules.
