Research focus
My research in Bruno De Geest lab lies in cancer immunotherapy. We design novel fusion proteins for precise delivery and treatment. Besides that, we are keen to develop new strategies for targeted gene and drug delivery on lipid nanoparticles.
Biography
Liuqian (Willow) graduated in Biomedical Engineering (Biomaterials) at Sichuan University in 2023. Later in 2025, she earned an MSc in Bioengineering from University of Pennsylvania, where she also worked on lipid nanoparticle(LNP)-associated inflammation research. She is currently a doctoral researcher in the lab of Prof. Bruno De Geest, aiming to develop cancer immunotherapy through fusion protein and LNP technologies.
