CRIG researcher dr. Sofie Peirs awarded for her doctoral thesis on acute T-cell leukemia

CRIG researcher dr. Sofie Peirs was awarded by the faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences for her doctoral work on T-cell leukemia, entitled "Novel molecular insights and targeted therapies in T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia" (promotors: prof. Pieter Van Vlierberghe & prof. Bruce Poppe). Dr. Sofie Peirs received her award at the Research Day & Student Research symposium on April 19, 2018.
Second laureate for the PhD price by the faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences was CRIG researcher dr. Xavier Verhelst, for his work on "The potential of glycomics as prognostic biomarkers in liver disease and liver transplantation".
