Research focus
My research is currently focused on finding novel approaches to conferring tissue selectivity to mRNA therapeutics on the pre- and post-translational level. I am conducting reporter gene studies aimed at achieving selective expression in hepatocellular carcinoma cells (HepG2) in vitro and in vivo. After systemic administration, the goal is to find a universally applicable method for restricting translation of therapeutic mRNA to target cells.
