Research focus
SCRiPTS focuses on 2 main research lines being oxide thin films and nanoparticles. The latter is of great importance to the cancer research community. Colloidal nanocrystals have been considered for a large array of bio-imaging applications, with recent research interest growing towards hybrid nanomaterials that combine multiple imaging modes in a single nanomaterial. Tuning the surface chemistry of these oxide nanoparticles results in targeted interactions and good particles stability.
