1st Nano Bio Materials And Raman Characterization Workshop & Raman4Clinics

The free 1st Nano-Bio materials and Raman characterization is a workshop co-organized by Ghent University (CRIG group leader prof. Andre Skirtach), with several speakers from CRIG!

First two days:

  • latest insights into development of novel nano-bio-materials as well as a detailed overview to the application of Raman imaging in various fields of applications.
  • introductions to the operational principles and instrumental configurations and demonstrate the latest advances in microscopes and equipment development
  • Scientists interested in chemically identifying and imaging the compounds of a sample at the highest spatial resolution are invited to participate.

Third day (Sep 15):

  • reserved for the Industrial liaison of the EU COST action Raman4Clinics:, which gathers European expertise to step forward in the field of novel, label-free and rapid technologies based on a wide variety of Raman spectroscopies for the clinical diagnostics of body fluids, bacteria, cells and tissues
