Research focus

Our research team focuses on the role of exercise in the management of cancer care, in particular prostate cancer. Although there is level 1 evidence for exercise to improve quality of life, implementation in daily clinical practice could improve. Therefore, our research is aimed to identify curent practice patterns and to develop methods to increase uptake (e.g. exercise programs).

A second topic of interest is the influence of cancer therapies on patients quality of life and methods to positively influence it, in particular in prostate, breast and lung cancer patients.
