Second CRIG Inspire & Interact Seminar @ Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences

CRIG is excited to continue the CRIG Inspire & Interact Series, aimed at strengthening connections, sparking collaboration, and showcasing inspiring examples of multidisciplinary work in oncology. Each edition offers a platform to spotlight the unique strengths of one of the CRIG faculties.

The upcoming seminar will be co-hosted with the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and will take place on Wednesday, September 17, at Campus UZ Gent (The Core). The seminar will run from 15:00 to 16:30 and will be followed by the annual CRIG Kubb Cup.

Given the strong clinical ties and physical proximity to the hospital, the aim is to highlight one of the faculty key strengths: the bridge between basic science and clinical application. Together with different CRIG researchers from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, CRIG is currently shaping an inspiring program. Details will follow soon, but you can already look forward to another great opportunity to connect and exchange ideas. Registration is free but mandatory (for practical reasons) via this link

Following this second Inspire & Interact seminar is the sixth edition of the CRIG Kubb Cup & Summer Bar (grass terrain behind MRB2, so 2 min walking from the seminar room in The Core). Teams of four (with some flexibility) will face off for the honor of having their names engraved on the legendary CRIG Kubb Cup! The tournament kicks off at 5:00 pm sharp, but the summer bar is open from 4:30 pm.

Participation in the tournament is free, but registration is required for players via this link before September 10. (You can register as a team or individually; CRIG will help form teams if needed).
