Research focus

Radiotherapy is a common treatment modality for cancer patients and its success sometimes rely on the induction of an immune response. Our research aims at investigating whether different doses of ionizing radiation can have a distinct outcome on the immune response and understanding the mechanisms that are involved at the level of cellular stress responses and cell death.
