CEDAR-IC (CEll Death Activity Regulation in Inflammation and Cancer) forms an interdisciplinary network that wants to bridge the unique medical, biomedical, physiological, chemical and nanotechnological expertise and knowhow within the Ghent University in the field of cell death, cancer and inflammation. Additionally, 5 international research teams join the 7 UGent teams, creating an international network of experts in the field of cell death, inflammation and cancer, focusing both on the understanding of the fundamental mechanisms of cell death as well as on validation of concepts in inflammation and cancer disease models.
